Show Your Love with an
Eagle Honor Award – This Week!

This Valentine’s Day, Show Your Love to a ZCS staff member who’s made a difference for you and your family. Send them an Eagle Honor with a heartfelt message—it’s a simple way to say thank you and brighten their day.

And your appreciation goes even further. Thanks to generous matching sponsors, every $10 Eagle Honor donation turns into $70 supporting future ZEF grants.

For $10 or more per honoree, ZEF will send an Eagle Honor Award certificate on your behalf. Eagle Honors are available year-round, but donate today to make sure yours arrives by February 13 for this week’s special Valentine’s Day delivery.

We Love our Z’Ville Community

A very special thanks to Zionsville’s Insomnia Mom founder and realtor Vikki Duke. Vikki creatively spread kindness during the holiday season on her Facebook page by asking her followers to snap a pic at her North Pole moment in her yard – a special holiday photo op provided by SignGypsies Zionsville. With each photo snapped (70 pics total!) and sent back to Vikki, she gave $5 to ZEF for a total donation of $350. We loved this creative and ingenious way to get the community involved with investing in ZEF!

Grants in Action

ZMS - Art Redefining Disability: Artist in Residence

The Zionsville Middle School art educators team of Jen Gibson and Jill Phipps received a recent Fall 2025 Classroom Grant for their project “Art Redefining Disability: Artist in Residence.” This partnership with ZMS art educators and the Indianapolis nonprofit ArtMix artist residency program engages life skills and functional academic students with hands-on art experiences.

ZMS is excited to share this opportunity with the ZWEST adaptive students and staff. They will join ZMS for two lessons this spring to create a collaborative artwork that will be displayed at each school. PLUS there will be a celebration of these students and their accomplishments with an Art Show at The Sullivan Munce Art Center, with an opening reception on Friday, May 1st from 5-7pm.

“Our ZMS adaptive art students have already benefited in so many ways from the ZEF grant, art REDEFINING disability. ArtMix has positively impacted our students by creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every student’s creativity is valued and celebrated. Through the guidance of a professional artist, students of all abilities have additional access to meaningful, hands-on art experiences that honor their individual strengths and provide opportunities for authentic self-expression.” - Jen Gibson & Jill Phipps, ZMS Art Educators

We love seeing this ZEF Grant in Action at Zionsville Middle School and look forward to sharing more Grants in Action across our district in 2026.
