What is a Classroom Grant?

Classroom Grants support academic excellence and innovation; community and school partnerships; and matching funds for external grants. These grants are awarded in the fall and spring of each year. Completed grant applications for Fall 2019 must be delivered to the ZEF office (Education Services Center, 900 N. Mulberry Street, Zionsville) by 4 PM on Monday, September 16, 2019. Spring 2020 applications are due Thursday, February 20, 2020.

Applying for a Classroom Grant

  1. Download and read the Classroom Grants Guidelines to learn more about the application process and which projects are (and aren’t) eligible for grant funding.
  2. Download and read the Classroom Grants Rubric. This form will be used by the Classroom Grants Committee when evaluating grant applications. Be sure to incorporate all areas into your application.
  3. Fill out the Grant Cover Sheet and submit it with your Grant Application to the ZEF office at 900 N. Mulberry Street no later than 4 PM on the date due.
  4. Grant recipients are required to submit a Grant Final Report the earlier of 30 days after the end of a project, or a maximum of a year after the grant is awarded.
