What is a Classroom Grant?

Classroom Grants support academic excellence and innovation; community and school partnerships; and matching funds for external grants. These grants are awarded in the fall and spring of each year. The 2024 Spring Classroom Grant application deadline is Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 4:00pm.

Applying for a Classroom Grant

ZEF is excited to announce a new system for our grants! All ZEF Grant applications can now be found in one location. (Click here)  This new system will enable applicants to work on an application over time and save their work, invite colleagues to collaborate on an application, submit applications electronically, fill out grant Final Reports online, and view applications after submission.

We welcome your feedback on this new system and, as always, we are here to answer any questions you have about your grant application or the new system. Contact Lyle Browne at x11500 or zef@zcs.k12.in.us.

Be sure to read the following documents when applying for a ZEF Classroom Grant:

    1. Classroom Grants Guidelines – learn more about the application process and which projects are (and aren’t) eligible for grant funding.
    2. Classroom Grants Rubric – this form will be used by the Classroom Grants Committee when evaluating grant applications. Be sure to incorporate all areas into your application.
