Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year! |
The new school year is here! It seems like it was just yesterday that we were closing out the school year, attending graduation celebrations and looking forward to our summer vacations. Now we are buying new backpacks, going to Back to School walk throughs this week, and looking forward to our fall sports seasons. As a ZEF staff, we have a senior, a sophomore and two ZMS students. Our summer days flew by, just like yours did!
During the last school year, ZEF invested in Zionsville Community Schools by giving $113,057 in grants that empowered ZCS educators and staff to grow professionally, spark innovation, and create transformative learning experiences for their students. With your help, the impact of ZEF reaches far beyond a single classroom or school year. As we look ahead to our next 30 years, we are committed to growing alongside the district and ensuring every generation of students has access to opportunities made possible by the continued investment from this community of donors and supporters. Thank you for believing in our students, championing our educators, and investing in the future of ZCS. We can't wait to see the ideas your generosity will bring to life this school year.

Trailside art teacher Emily Parker received a 2026 Spring Imagine Professional Development Grant to participate in the Connecting Collections Summer Institute, hosted by the Met, in New York City this summer.
Emily said about her experience at the Institute, “This was the most incredible professional development experience ever! I learned in the galleries from museum educators, collaborated with my cohort of teachers, attended two keynote speaker presentations, and presented my assignment at the end of the conference. I had so many “ah-ha!” moments of activities and strategies we practiced in the galleries that
I could easily incorporate in my classroom with students. I can’t wait to bring the museum to the classroom this school year!” |
